Hiking Tumwater Botanical Area

The Tumwater Botanical Area is a special area designated by the Alpine Lakes Area Management Plan because a couple of species of rare plants grow in the area. 
There are no official trails in this area. Visitors are strongly encouraged to tread lightly here, since at least one species of these rare plants have not been documented anywhere else.
