Ethan & I climbed up Rattlesnake Dance Ridge today.  This is a very steep trail much of the way, but slow & steady with lots of rest stops got us to the top in 1.5 hours.  It was partly cloudy with a cool breeze when we started, but by the time we reached the top the overcast had moved in.  We found a spot in the lee of the ridge looking out at the Stuarts (until they became socked in) for lunch.  It was pleasant out of the wind and we probably stayed an hour before heading down.  The trail is steep & rocky, you'll want poles for the descent, but is easy to follow.  There were a number of other hikers climbing the ridge today.  We didn't see any wildlife, but we did see 3 trains of almost 100 cars.
