Trip Report

Navaho Peak, Navaho Pass — Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway
Stuart range from the summit

Quick update to add to the other trip reports already posted - the snow has almost totally melted out, with only a few patches on the trail above the pass, just below the summit. They were a little slippery, but I did fine with just my hiking pole (left my spikes in the car). Temps dropped quite a bit between the Pass and the summit, and it was gorgeous, windy and cold at the top. Very quiet on a Tuesday: Saw only 7 other people, 3 hunters and 4 hikers.

Also - lots of horse trailers parked below the trailhead, and I passed one hunter with a horse and mule. If you see stock approaching, remember to step off the trail and give them plenty of room to pass.
