Trip Report

Stafford Lookout, Navaho Pass — Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020

Snoqualmie Region > Salmon La Sac/Teanaway

Got to TH at 09:00, back at the car by 14:30. Didn't do the full hike past the large cleared-out rock meadow. Was very satisfied with my hiking pace and after a lunch break under the beautiful sun, didn't feel rushed/forced to go all the way. Hah! First long solo hike in a while, passed by maybe 5 groups - all wearing masks or socially distant.

3 areas where large trees were down, easy to hike around by deviating from the trail - but be careful, not sure how the future sun/snow will wash out the trail. Road to TH is pothole-y, rented a Tiguan and it did perfectly fine. Some icy parts as I was leaving.

Larches sprinkled around the trail, and in the distance. So damn beautiful.

Teanaway sunshine, quiet, and no cell reception did wonders to my soul. (Hopefully) happy election week, stay safe, and thank you WTA!
