Cape Disappointment State Park - McKenzie Head — Thursday, Jun. 17, 2021

We fit this short hike in when we were leaving Cape Disappointment and I am so glad we did.  The trail leads you up to where William Clark hiked up to after they had finally reached the Pacific Ocean.  There is also remnants of the old World War 2 fort for you to explore. We hiked with our two dogs and our boys (ages 11 and 15).  We all enjoyed this hike.
