Amazing payout for a short hike. Phenomenal 360 views.

It was noted by myself and another group of hikers that google maps does not bring you to the trailhead. The trailhead is just shy of 7 miles up the forest road and google stops you at 4.5 miles. Even when the GPS coordinates are entered. I recommend using Gaia Maps if you have it.

That said the trail is about .5-.75 with a steep and exposed trail. I left my trekking poles in the car because the hike was so short but would have liked to have them for the walk down.
