Trip Report

Bridle Trails State Park — Saturday, May. 28, 2022

Puget Sound and Islands > Seattle-Tacoma Area

We arrived at the TH at 9:15 and had no trouble finding parking in this large, gravel lot.   We hiked all three trails:  Coyote, Trillium and Raven.  The trails were all in good shape with the expected muddy areas that were easily navigable.

The trails take you through beautiful and serene woods.  You won't come across spectacular views or scenery on this trail system, but the trails provide a very peaceful and meandering hike in the woods, nonetheless.  There were not many other hikers although a number of trail runners passed us and two beautiful horses, as well.

Hiking all three trails we logged 7.2 miles and 510' in elevation gain.   This is a great hiking destination for a splendid, close-in day in the woods.   We'll be back.
