Bridle Trails State Park — Tuesday, May. 31, 2022

I was looking for a shorter trail to walk with my dog on this finally nice summer day and I chose coyote trail. The landscape around was pretty amazing with all the trees and greenery but the trail its self was in horrible condition. The trail was completely covered in mud along with the mounds of horse poop every couple yards. The hike was pretty easy and I didn't have many problems other then the horrible direction markers. Near the end of the trail one of the markers sent me the complete wrong direction and I would have to backtrack almost 20 minutes because of this. I think this hike is good for a simple and easy hike but I personally will not be returning.
