Woodard Bay Conservation Area — Saturday, May. 25, 2024

Olympic Peninsula > Olympia

Lovely and relaxing hike today at Woodard Bay.  We did the loop trail then walked to Weyer Point where we saw lots of cormorants and a couple of harbor seals. The tide was way out, and we found some crabs hiding under the rocks on the little beach. There have been some improvements since our last time here in 2017.  Such a gem!

We found a few oyster mushrooms.
Cormorant nests in the trees across the water.
