I was the first snowshoer following a set of ski tracks. The trail is not 4 miles as stated on the website, I did 3.4 and that was with doing some exploring up to the upper lake. Just following the trail to the first lake would be 2.4 round trip. Use caution when crossing the streams, the snow is still new enough it can cave in.
