Took a nice afternoon hike today on Little Ridge and the Coal Mines Trail. I did the section immediately south of Roslyn. Little Ridge parallels CMT just uphill from the CMT a few hundred yards. I was able to do it without spikes or snowshoes. It had been snowmobiled and the tread was at times rough and uneven. I saw one person on the CMT and no one else on the ridge part of my walk. We have little snow in Roslyn, which has become a pattern for the past several years. Things have changed since I moved here 50 years ago.
