Washington Park — Sunday, Mar. 16, 2025

Puget Sound and Islands > San Juan Islands
Washington Park by latentcall

Just moved to Anacortes the start of March. This is 2.6 mile loop, that is welcome to foot traffic and cars as well. If you enter the normal way, you’ll have cars driving behind you. It was recommended to me to enter at the exit so cars come at you instead.

I went in the normal way, with my 4 year old pug. Took us maybe 1.5-2 hours, but we made many stops. Some inclines but nothing bad, and you have a nice paved road you can walk on. Many trails go through the whole thing, highly recommend. We went in one trail and went in kinda far and if you listen you can hear the trees moving from the wind and hear the ocean water. Very meditative!

Amazing views at the top. Nice and big area to walk around.

For dog people, there are a lot of dogs on this trail.

Overall a great place to spend an afternoon!
