Water at 3800 ft (on gaia). 10 second s to fill one liter, via a little one foot waterfall. Flowers blooming, esp up high. Lookout still shuttered. Nice separate cooking area at Desolation Camp.

Mountain Lover on Desolation Peak
Patch of snow on top past lookout that if desperate could melt for water. Otherwise basically none. Trail good. Blowdowns cleared. Evidence of recent treadwork in several places. Not rocky until towards top. Nice forest path.
