Lookout Mountain Lookout — Sunday, Jul. 20, 2025

I arrived at the trail about 6:30 AM and started up. Entering the meadows after passing the junction with the Monogram Lake Trail - the wildflowers were amazing. It must be close to peak bloom. There were not a lot of views from the lookout due to a layer or clouds hanging in the tops of the peaks, so I headed back down. The wildflowers made the trip worthwhile even without 360 degree mountain views.
