Trail was in great condition. Most of the berries are found on the steep portion leading up to Mount McCaulsand (after the turnoff for the PCT). This turnoff is not marked with a sign. There is a backcountry toilet near the lake (it does have a sign). Lots of people out swimming and floating on the lake.
