Wanted something a little less crowded and this filled the bill. Only saw about 8 people all day. Trail is a little wet at the very beginning and then again at the end as you approach the lake, but nothing too bad. There's also a bit of snow in the final approach to the lake; spikes were not required when we were there, but if it had been cold enough to be icy they could have been helpful.
Spent a few minutes up at the lake to enjoy the views before heading back. A gorgeous way to spend the day!
