Mount Teneriffe, Teneriffe Falls — Friday, Nov. 28, 2025

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
Tenerife summit

Snow free basically on the whole kamikaze trail from the falls to the summit of Mount Teneriffe (Note: this was well before the heavy rain/snow in the mountains). The waterfall was pouring rapidly by the end of November. But you have to take careful steps onto the wet tree roots and rocks , as it could be slippery when you hike downhill. Poles were really helpful. The sun came out after 3600ft, making the summit view pretty gorgeous with sunshine over the thick clouds. In winter please always bring headlamps just in case.  sunset is around 4:15pm right now. When I hiked down, with thick fog around, even it was before sunset time the visibility dropped drastically (less than 5meters). The headlamp helped a lot. After the switchbacks on my way down it was just smooth enough condition back to trailhead . I did a trail run actually.
