Augspurger Trail — Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026

Checked Augspurger off yesterday. It was harder than I anticipated, and the summit was reeeeally cold and windy. I tucked myself behind some trees to take a short break (and to get my cameras out) and had limited success in regards to photography due to my numb fingers not functioning properly. There is snow for the last couple of miles. I got by with microspikes, but would’ve preferred snow shoes closer to the top.
