road: snow and ice and definitely present 3/4 of the forest service road. We put chains on.
TH: parking lot is covered in snow. There is a pit toilet.
Trail: snow and ice the whole way. Yak tracks made it very easy. The trail is very clearly defined and the grade to the lake is a steady incline. The loop around the lake has deep snow and footing was poor. But the views and the snow were beautiful!
