South Cascades > Dark Divide

We mistakenly hiked the lower portion of the trail that leads to the intersection of the Huffman TH but it turned out this portion of the trail was much nicer than the upper trail. The trail was in very good shape. Since we hiked down to the main trail head we decided to walk back to the car on the hardtop road, BIG mistake. Long ways back to walk on pavement :o( Signage to trailhead is very poor. Suggest bring the green trails map.
