This was such a great hike. We left Bothell area around 7am, arrived at TH by 9am, there were a couple parked cars but lots of open spots. The hike starts gradually getting elevation gain through the forest area. At 1.5 miles train meets the PCT, you keep left here. The fall foliage was beautiful and at the 3 mile mark we took a right and kept going up. The views keeps getting better and better as you climb and we were lucky to have some delicious huckleberries and blueberries as treats along the way.
At the summit we took a break to eat lunch while soaking in the views as clouds were clearing up.
This hike is a must, but be sure to arrive there early as by noon there were lots of hikers heading that way and once we were done with the hike and back at the car, all spots were taken and some people were parked by the road.
Happy hiking!
