Spent a couple nights @ the Deer Park campground. Weather was about perfect. As the road to Deer Park is still closed had the campground to myself the 2 nights I was there. Trail from Slab Camp TH up to Deer Ridge and to the park is basically snow free. Taking the road up to Blue Mtn. there is still some snow covering the road on the backside of the mtn. but nothing difficult to navigate. The views from the summit of Blue Mtn. were 360 degrees and impressive and one could clearly see Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, Mt. Olympus, Hurricane Ridge and many other peaks. Hiked a bit of the Grand Ridge trail and got a ways up Green Mtn. before the snow got to deep and had to turn around. Due to the amount of snow it is going to take a bit more time for one to be able to traverse from Deer Park to Obstruction Point.
