What was supposed to be a "partly cloudy" day turned out to be a winter wonderland. The trail itself was not difficult to locate, but much of the snow had turned to slush and made for precarious hiking. The cloud cover was complete, with visibility as low as 100 feet. The parking lot was fairly crowded when we arrived at 9:30 and full when we left around 12.
