Muddy, muddy, muddy, that's the name of this trail. We came here because we had heard there was a lot of beaver activity. Saw one dam that the rangers have to break up frequently, but that was the only one. Other spots are probably only accessible via the water. Got here around 11:30 or so, several cars in the lot. People camped in the campground and LARPers in the back meadow area. We ran in to a couple groups of people out on the trails, but not terribly busy. Trail very muddy, especially going around the lake. Trails going north were not passable unless you wanted to wade the swamp. My son was happy running through puddles and having snacks out on the dock. Great Saturday afternoon in the park.
