Little Giant Pass (7/21/19), day hike.
The river crossing immediately at trail head is very low. I'm 5''5' and it only reached my knees. I took some crocs to walk the river without any rock pain.
Trail is noticeable through out the hike. It is very overgrown in places. We saw a couple backpacking, a family of 3 backpacking, 1 day hiker, and us through out the whole day.
The trail can be challenging for kids and new hikers so probably best avoided if going with either group.
If you have the staminna and enjoy pass views, little giant pass will reward your efforts.
Stats:
11 miles round trip.
4275 feet elevation gain.
