Burroughs Mountain — Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022

I didn't actually hike this trail today, only passed by as I headed down the Wonderland trail from the junction at Frozen Lake. But I noticed people were stopped on the Burroughs Trail because of a bear foraging up-trail. This was at 7:20 AM, and I watched and snapped photos (from a long way away) for about 10 minutes. When I passed through this area again around 12:00, other hikers I met said traffic had not been held up for very long. But I could still see the bear up on top of Burroughs, just no longer close to the trail.
