I hiked to the Mt Forgotten meadows today. Road: in great shape but there is a one lane bridge so respect the posted speed limit. Trail: I counted at least 15 blow downs, and 2 creek crossings. Nothing major but your shoes/boots will get wet. Patchy snow starts at 4600 feet and snowfields start at 5000 feet. Snow is consolidated I hiked with hiking shoes, no microspikes or poles and my dog. The meadows are covered in snow. I was going to Mt. Forgotten but hiking with a dog and the drop to the climbers trail still had snow so I decided to turn around. I saw some wildflowers as well and phenomenal views from the meadows, Baker and Glacier were visible.
