An easy hike for all ages to enjoy throughout the year. I return to this location every year now for both meditation and connecting back to nature, sitting right at the base of a beautiful waterfall about a mile and a half into the hike. If you are looking for peace and a great experience out in nature, then this is the hike for you, your friends and your family! The road up to the trail can be a bit rough (about 3 miles in), carwash needed afterwords for sure, and be careful on the trail as it does include some very steep inclines that could cause injury if you are not paying attention on your hike. This is a longer day hike of 8+ miles if you follow the trail to the end, but the waterfall features are the best part of this hike and can be very busy in the summer months. I did see a few folks on the trail, but I like to come up in the winter months as there are not as many people with the opportunity to get in a good, cleansing and healing meditation by what I now call "Meditation Falls."
