More protected lands: The Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) acquired 86 acres of land, which will be added to the Upper Dry Gulch Natural Area Preserve. Over 2023, DNR acquired over 1,726 acres of land in Washington for conservation, all of which will be added to existing conservation areas.
Snow this weekend: It’s been an unseasonably dry El Niño winter so far, but there is some snow coming our way in the mountain forecast this weekend. If you want to play in the snow, make sure you’re in the know on Sno-Park permits and being safe when winter recreating.
