Noodle is living her best life, thanks to trails, a bit of technology and her loving people.

Here's a bit of joy for you today.

Meet Noodle. Noodle was found as a stray as a puppy, and she was paralyzed. She was lucky to find a forever home with two people who have been helping Noodle live up to her full potential.

Noodle, who is probably some sort of a hound mix, has been hiking since she was a puppy. Photo courtesy Bree Kunkel.

Noodle has been hiking since she was adopted, when she was about 4-month old. Her person, Bree Kunkel, says Noodle loves hiking — she starts baying like a hound in excitement when they pull up to a trailhead. When Noodle first started hiking, her people had to be very careful about distance and elevation gain. Now, they simply look for trails that are wide enough for her to navigate using her scooter — which has cambered wheels to make it less likely to tips over on trails.  Noodle is now strong and energetic enough for miles of hiking. She (and her people) frequently visit trail at Little Mountain in Mount Vernon, which are a perfect width for her scooter. She's strong and energetic enough for miles of hiking.

You can follow Noodle's adventures on Instagram and Facebook.

P.S. Please observe how Noodle was also an adorable puppy.
