I highly recommend this trail for those who want a dog-friendly, kid-friendly hike. The whole trail loops around the Chambers Bay golf course and is paved which would be nice for rainy weather too. Luckily for us, it was 50 degrees and sunny. We walked around the entire loop, with occasional stops for my dog. We started our walk around 1230pm and ended at 230pm. I loved this walk because it is a mixture of flat and elevated surfaces, with beautiful views of the Puget Sound. They have a decent size off-leash dog area enclosed by a fence. There is also an off-leash area by the water. There are plenty of picnic tables throughout the trail. There are also a few restrooms with water stations available throughout the trail. They even have a water station low to the ground for your dog! I can honestly say that the restroom at the top of the hill was the cleanest restroom I have ever used at a public trail before! They also have a nice playground for kids at the top of the hill. We will definitely be returning for another hike soon!

Angel and I do this several times a week. Great place to go when the weather is not cooperative since it is mostly paved, but the inclines offer great training. Always a good walk.

We wanted to do a kid friendly, snow free hike. Chambers Bay loop turned out to be the perfect choice. We were so very lucky, the rain had already stopped when we started the hike. What a beautiful place!!! very well taken care of, the bathrooms were heated and very clean. This nice walk had some ups and down and gave us a nice workout. And of course the kids had a blast!!!

Red Top Lookout

Snoqualmie Pass

Whether you're camping near Cle Elum or just want a prime picnic location for a short Saturday hike, you'll only have to climb a mile on this steep, easy-to-follow trail to get stunning views from a fire lookout (and cool alpine outhouse). It can be great for kids, but keep them close on the exposed summit.
