I found a lost earring (pearl stud) on the road so please respond to this post if you are looking for one. Lovely hike despite drizzle. The road is closed and so you need to walk several miles along the road before beginning the one-mile hike in. The road is thick ice with bare patches on the lower sections: microspikes or yak tracks on your boots and hiking poles are strongly recommended. I am thinking that this might be a nice summer hike for visitors who are not strong hikers or have small children.
