Hiking Aurora Ridge

This is a long ridge hike with views over Lake Crescent and the surrounding mountains.

This hike begins at the trailhead on the Sol Duc and quickly starts to gain elevation. There is water at Eagle Lake (5.5) miles. Depending on the time of the season there may or may not be water beyond this spot.

WTA worked here in 2018 and 2010!

Getting There

Driving west on Highway 101 from Port Angeles. Drive past Lake Crescent and turn left on the Sol Due. You will need a park pass in the summer. Approximately 2 miles past the entrance of the Sol Duc the trail head parking is on the left. Room for about five vehicles.
