Hiking Copper Mountain

A scramble over snow and rock under the summit of Copper Mountain. If you're attempting this in winter, be careful of cornices.

Start your trip at the Staircase parking lot on the Wagonwheel Lake Trail. At about 3900 feet, turn east and head towards the ridge up to Copper Mountain, following it all the way up to the summit.
