Hiking Icicle Creek

This is an out-and-back trail that winds through the forest with the sound of Icicle Creek in the valley below. The trail eventually meets Icicle Creek where it's joined by French Creek. There are two campsites there, one on either side of French Creek. The trail is used by horses and there is a stock ford clearly marked.

The bridge at French Creek is out, though, so humans will need to either use the stock ford, which may be impossible at high water, or turn around.

It's possible to link the Icicle Creek trail with several others in the area to form a backpacking loop trail. Snag a map and plot out your next adventure.
