Hiking North Ridge

Great trail, which is always in good shape by the dirtbikers. There are many vistas along the way. A lofty goal is to get to the North Ridge Lookout Site, which is at 5920 ft. Views are awesome here. To get to this point it is 12.5 miles RT and 4700 ft gain, which 800 ft of it is on the way back. For the more adventurous, it is another 2 miles(4 miles RT) to Mt Clifty

After approximately 0.8 mile, take a right onto Forest Road 4517, and continue for about half a mile. Take a left onto Forest Road 4517-117, and when at the power lines, follow road to the right. Follow this road to the end and the trailhead for North Ridge, and Big Creek
