Hiking Trillium Park

Trillium Park consists of a steep drainage with some large old-growth trees. The trail through the park is steep and has lots of stairs.

Getting There

There are two ends to this trail — both are in local neighborhoods. Consider taking transit, as there are no parking lots. 

Southern terminus

The pin on the map points to the southern terminus. From downtown Olympia, head south on Capitol Way S. In about 1.6 miles, turn left onto Governor Stevens Ave SE. In 0.3 mile, turn right onto Hoadly St SE; the trailhead will be on your left. 

Take transit: southern terminus

Take Intercity Transit routes 12 or 13 to the Capitol Blvd at O'Farrell Ave. Head south on Capitol Blvd SE for just a few hundred feet, then turn left onto Governor Stevens Ave SE. In 0.3 mile, turn right onto Hoadly St SE; the trailhead will be on your left. 

Northern terminus

From downtown Olympia, head south on Capitol Way S. In about 1.5 miles, turn left onto O'Farrell Ave SE. In 0.3 mile, the trailhead will be on your right.

Take transit: northern terminus

Take Intercity Transit routes 12 or 13 to the Capitol Blvd at O'Farrell Ave. Walk along O'Farrell Ave SE for 0.3 mile to reach the trailhead, on your right.
