We decided to visit this beautiful state park as weather on Saturday was perfect for hiking this area with a lot of sunshine. As time went by, we saw plenty of people coming in the area with children and dogs.
We parked at the Bowman beach parking lot and headed for the Rosario head loop trail. The storyboards of Maiden of Deception Pass is half-illegible already. While coming back from the Rosario head, we went down to the Bowman beach halfway in the trail and walked alongside the bay. Then we went towards the Lighthouse Point/Lottie Bay loops. There were two uprooted trees on the Lottie bay loop, one of them was cut down & cleared out very recently and the other isn't. This obstacle might be a little difficult for people with less flexibilities. The view of the Deception pass bridge was marred by the construction work that is going on the bridge, but we were able to get a few good pics with clear sky in the background. The Lighthouse point loop was all clear and saw a lot people hiking that one. Overall it was an awesome day out.
