After a long respite, like from last August, Geezer Patrol minus two headed out for an easy walk to try out repaired feet and revised orthotics. The parking lot was pretty quiet for the first two loops to Lottie Bay and Lighthouse Point but oh baby, the world turned out in the afternoon to completely fill the parking lot and eliminate all hope of social distancing on the trail to the North Headland. Old folks, young folks and kids of all ages loving being free and out of the house.
The fog was a constant companion until about 1:30 in the afternoon when it just up and dissipated like it always does. Trails were all in fine shape in spite of the people load and for a mere 4.7 mile effort, you can visit all this area has to offer.
The governor would be unhappy to see all the people at this park and neither was I. Gotta go get lost in the woods instead of doing the State Park thing but it was nice to see people pretty happy in spite of the medical onslaught we are all facing.
Its a really pretty place on a sunny day. Make your own choices.
