Trip Report

Lake Padden Park — Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2020

Puget Sound and Islands > Bellingham Area

Today we ventured to a new-to-us spot in the Lake Padden park area. The trail starts at the same parking lot used by mountain bikers to access Galbraith. From there it is a very easy path that can either be done as a lollipop loop or could connect to the Lake Padden trail.

This was a beautiful stretch of woods with green trees, green moss, and cool roots draped over stumps and logs. The portion that we took was about 2.25 miles. We only passed about 4 other people on the trail and everyone was mindful of keeping some distance.

I am definitely coming back 😊.
