I was going to attempt Eldorado but got stopped by snow still covering the road.
It took around 2 miles of snowshoeing to get to the trailhead. But, that was greatly limiting the number of people during the day.
From the trailhead, it was easy enough to find a route. Though, following other people's trails was unreliable.
The avalanche debris in the basin is widespread and the snow above looked like it was ready to fall. I saw a couple of small avalanches cascade down, but nothing serious. I would avoid the hike until spring is over if you don't have avy-training.
My original plan was to make the lookout. But, the cornices above the traverse route looked treacherous. Instead, I headed to the North Peak. Excellent day out social distancing.
