I loved this place. There were a few people there, enough so it didn't feel like a creepy ghost town, but not so many that it felt crowded. There is no signage about where anything is. I asked quite a few people where the waterfall, cemetery and mine shaft were. Like myself, no one had been there before. I finally found the right path (turn left at the coal cart). While not super challenging, there were a few hills to get my heart rate up and some lovely views of small mountains and valleys. We saw 3 eagles soaring above. There were some small manageable muddy spots in the trail. You can do this with tennis shoes, though. You could spend as little or as much time there as you like. I spent a solid 2 and a half hours, and could have explored a little more. The waterfall is right off to the left as you come into the parking lot. You have to go down a steep hill and I recommend poles. I could see how steep it was and opted not to go down this time with my dog (she'd pull me down with her leash at a rate I would not be ready for). Really a nice "low key" spot to hike and explore. Great for kids. I took my dog (on a leash) and she had fun, too.
