I love this place and visiting here is a Fall and Spring ritual.  The parking is closed off and there are signs everywhere reminding you about Social Distancing.  A Park Official stands guard at the front entrance to answer any questions.

Right now is about prime time for Spring colors and Rhododendron/Azaleas blooms.  I was there in the late afternoon and there were about 7 groups wandering around.  Very peaceful and serene place to get out and wander.  Much larger, but a little less structured, than the Arboretum version.  Lots of bunnies running around doing bunny things.

Your photos are beautiful!! And a question since you said the parking lot was closed off. Are there alternative parking options somewhere or did you walk to the gardens? I haven’t been there before though it’s been on my list to go for quite awhile, but it’s not within walking distance of where I live. Thank you in advance!

Yes parking is pretty easy on the streets outside the gate.
