Based on previous report, we took the drive up to investigate. Forest road is indeed closed at about half mile up. We parked at the road slide and hiked 2.5 miles in, encountering more washout areas. Obvious boot tracks and the road is available for a day hike. saw 5 others - two hikers and 3 people digging through debris looking for treasures. not unpleasant for a day walk to be outside social distancing.
