I was hoping to see more wildflowers on this hike, but it looks like I missed it by about a week (should have been there last weekend). Very few people on the trail (saw one when we arrived and two when we were leaving), which is why I picked this trail during the time of Covid-19.
The trail follows a gravel road, so no real obstacles. It was very windy and chilly this morning (glad I had a warm hat and fleece jacket).
I'll have to come back next spring, but time it better.
