I should note that the parking lots at the entrance and lower Kit Carson lot were full.
We parked in the lower Kit Carson parking area and headed up trail 110 to saddle junction. The trail was in great shape and we saw more people out on the trail than I have ever seen at Mt Spokane before. It was a very overcast day and most of our hike was in the clouds, getting lightly rained on with pretty limited visibility. At saddle junction we took 160 to the Little Rock cropping at the summit and to our surprise were met with a tiny bit of cloud parting and sunshine! On another note we counted 9 downed trees across 160. We took 160 down to 140 and again both trails were in great shape minus the downed trees. And just an FYI, the restroom at Smith gap is/was still closed.
