Ruby Beach was stunning this Sunday!! My husband and I went for our first time and brought our dog along. Parking was tight - cars along the road on either side while we were there (~2:30-3:30pm). The beach was crowded but luckily, it's so big you can really spread out and find a spot for yourself or keep walking to get further from the crowds! We loved exploring all of the rock formations and sitting on the driftwood to relax - it was so beautiful on a blue sky sunny day but imagine it would be equally as beautiful on a cloudy or rainy day, just in a different way. It's so nice that this beach is dog friendly since so many other nearby coastal beaches are not - remember to please keep your dog on leash as it's a privilege to have our pups there and also, not everyone wants unleashed dogs running up to them. It was a lovely day - highly recommend going for a side trip if you're in the area or for an entire day.

We camped at Ocean Shores State Park the night before on our way up to Ruby Beach. The second night we stayed at a tiny home in Forks.
