I’m not convinced that the mileage is accurate but overall this hike was super challenging with a rewarding view for a payoff. We even got treated to a mountain goat experience! However, when people say “bugs” on their trip report, they mean mosquitos that will bite you through your hiking gear! Spray repellent before you get dressed & I definitely recommend wearing a hat. I count 21 bites on me today, 3 of which are on my scalp.
