Looking for a short, steep hike with a view, I headed up the Middle Fork to do Garfield Ledges, not having been up there for awhile. I parked at the big Gateway Bridge parking lot, so I could avoid the potholes on the road to the trail head. No shortage of parking spaces! Social distancing was easy since so few hikers were out there. I wore a buff to pull up when encountering the few other hikers on the trails. As good as this trail is, there were volunteers working on trail drainage from the Mountains To Sound organization. A link to my photos from this hike may be found below, in the full report section.
