Apparently near the end of thistrail, there was a cairn. I went up a steep side to a tree trunk. This is where there were many mayflies. I had SPOT and sent out a signal from there. Thought I had secure it into the side mesh pocket of my pack, which I've always have done. It fall off, came out somehow. It is about within a 1/4 mile of this trunk (see photo). I looked for about a half hour. Even though it is orange, I could not locate it. If you find it please contact me. It has been disactivated.
